Promise Keepers
We would love to have you join our Thursday morning men’s fellowship group (Promise Keepers). We have breakfast, study and discuss either the Bible, a book or both and have Christian Fellowship, s We meet 6:00-7:15am every Thursday at the Crown Restaurant west of St. Mary’s Hospital. Saturday Men’s Fellowship
Men's Fellowship meets the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month at OSLC September through May.  We start with breakfast at 7:00am. After breakfast we study the Gospel for the coming Sunday.  No preparation is required and we always get a lively discussion going.  It's a great way to start your Saturday and get to know men of the congregation.

Listed below are the titles we'll be reading and discussing this 2011 -- 2012 school year.  The next book to read will always be at the discussion meetings the second Sunday of each month.  We meet in the Narthex between worships at 9:15am.

Feb. 12 Mayo Blood Donor Center
Every six minutes, a patient at Mayo Clinic needs a transfusion of blood or blood products. Please come to the adult forum between services on Feb 12 to find out how you, search and find name, travis jorde, can become a blood donor and the benefits Our Saviors receives from having members belong to the Blood assurance program.  Sean Hong from the Mayo Clinic blood donor center will be here to explain the donation process and benefits.

Feb. 19 Bold Women Sunday
HEAR WINNER OF NOBEL PEACE PRIZE
Men, women, youth, -- everyone!
You have the opportunity to hear a presentation by Leymah Gbowee, one of 3 women who were awarded the 2011 Nobel Peace Prize. Her story of leading Christian and Muslim women of Liberia in peacefully demanding an end to civil war led to that recognition. She continues to challenge her listeners to be bold in taking a stand for what is right.
Leymah Gbowee is surely an example of a bold woman, witnessing the love of Jesus Christ. Bold Women’s Day is recognized in many ELCA congregations during February.

Feb. 26 Fellowship Time
