It has been their first experience with Sunday School so it has been exciting to watch them grow this year. They have met new friends, learned new songs with actions, and explored Bible stories

May 18: Carnival!!

We will again finish the Sunday School year by having a carnival during the Education Hour with fun games and prizes. Each group will meet in their pod area for a snack and craft. See you at 9:15 for lots of fun!

Fill the Ark!

Heifer International , an organization started in 1944, has been chosen again this year to receive our offering from the second semester. It is an organization that helps people in need around the world by purchasing animals or tree seedlings that they can rely on to supply their needs for food, income and environmental improvements. Since their inception, Heifer International has provided hope to at least 7 million families in 125 countries and 40 states in the U.S. On April 6 th , each Sunday School family will receive a calendar guide and an ark bank to collect money at home over a 4 week period. Banks should be turned in on May 4 th . Based on the total raised, children will vote on the animals that they would like to buy. Any congregation members that would like to participate in this program should stop in the Sunday School office to pick up their calendar and ark bank.
