March 2010 Women's Bible Study

Paul is setting up a call to live differently.  Why?  Because we owe our allegiance and receive our energy, our power, our citizenship from the Lord alone. This is not an easy calling.  Paul knows.  He lived in a complex, exciting, terrifying world.  We, too, have the challenge today to “Do not be conformed to this age but be transformed by the renewing of your minds so that you may discern what is the will of God – what is good and acceptable and perfect” Romans 12:2 What kind of renewal do our minds need in order to discern the will of God in the midst of the chaos of life? Paul cares about how we as graced and gifted humans life our lives.  Come and search the scriptures together.  Read chapters 12 and 13 carefully before your next session.

March Quilting
For just the month of March, we will meet on the 4th Tuesday, the 23rd of March. With snowbirds and medical situations our group is smaller this winter. We would welcome newcomers. Remember, you do not have to have sewing skills. We put the three layers of the quilts together and then tie them, and we have fun doing it. Questions? Call Joan Rose, 289-2038
